 My Books

I have ten books out now; seven Mind Body and Soul, two novels, and my Memoirs, Memoirs of a Clairvoyant (Oct 2017). Writing is like breathing to me. I simply have to do it. If I don't then I find my head gets too full of nonsense! So I put my nonsense into words and thankfully, people seem to want to read about it.

Please browse my books below. All available on Amazon and all good online sellers.

Weegie Tarot: Life of a Foolish Man

Imagine if the Fool of the tarot had been reincarnated in 1960s Glasgow? Imagine his journey as he met the Tarot's archetypes in his life of poverty and sectarianism? His love for his caring foster mum ( The Empress), his lessons in life from the maverick car mechanic (The Magician) and the fortune teller (The High Priestess) would all enrich our understanding of the tarot by making it more real and familiar. Eddie Reilly is the foolish man, a Weegie (Glaswegian) on his life journey in an area of poverty, violence, unemployment and great character. Maybe the Universe Just Isn't That Into You!

Spiritual Responsibility in a Fluffy Bunny World

You have read the little books of affirmations, done the daily angel/oracle/astrological inspiration thing? Fine...me too! But it has all gone too far. We now have a great swathe of spiritual people who are giving up personal responsibilty for their actions and claiming that simple bad decisions are the work of Spirit/God/Universe. It has to stop. Everything is a 'lesson' or a 'gift'. So here is the book that debunks the usual suspects. It shows up what is simply a lack of strength and character when things go so wrong that 'Spirit told me to do it' is simply an excuse for someone looking to avoid facing the truth in their own life. Yes...it's an angry and non-subtle book. It is needed in an ocean of fluffy-bunny rainbows. It is time for the pendulum to swing the other way.

How to Read an Egg

Divination for the Easily Bored

You've tried the tarot, ruminated with the runes and are all angel-carded out! Now try the less well known, the tribal, the forgotten and the truly bonkers! Divination, the art of prediction or psychic insight by use of supernatural means, can be accurate and fun!

Fortune Killer

If you can’t be the best in one career then you may as well be the best in another, even if that career is ‘Serial Killer’.

Faith Hope is a celebrity clairvoyant who has seen better days and is now intent on becoming Scotland’s most notorious murderer. The bodies are piling up as she uses her own unique magickal and creative methods of killing.
Her final target is none other than The First Minister, Sandy D’Arcy. Can the police stop her in time? Or will it be down to the ghost of her mild mannered husband, her two celebrity spirit guides and an angel?

Fortune Killer is a story of faith, hope and love all mixed in with greed, lust and hatred. It is a darkly humorous story of murder, celebrity, spirits and magick.

The Prescription

Can you love two men at the one time?If so, how do you choose between them? What if fate intervenes and makes the choice for you?

Gerry Fraser is a thirty something pharmacist who apparently has a perfect life. She lives in a perfect house with her successful lawyer husband, Phil. She works in an upmarket branch of a multinational pharmacy chain and appears to have life under control. Yet her life is almost too perfect and she feels empty and shallow although she aspires to the lifestyle that was never part of her childhood in a very uninspiring cottage flat in Knightswood. Gerry isn’t the best pharmacist as she tends to tell it as it is, has a wicked sense of humour and isn’t really a ‘people person’. For many years she has simply wanted to be a mum but her husband’s demands, career and aspirations have always come first. When Phil finally decides that the time is right for them to have a family because it would enhance his reputation to be seen as a family man, Gerry is confused. She knows she wants a child. She just isn’t sure that she wants one with Phil. On the same day that Phil makes his declaration, a connection to a patient in her pharmacy starts a journey that could lead to the end of her marriage. Danny Ferrie, lead singer of Eighties protest band SucksFake! has returned to his old Glasgow turf and needs to buy some heartburn medicine. A clash of wills ends in a cheeky wink that sends Gerry right back to her student days and reconnects her with her old imperfect self. Gerry battles with the two versions of herself: the perfect Virgo wife of 1993 and the feisty political student of 1981. But who will win? Will Gerry have the perfect baby to enhance her perfect life with Phil or will she give it all up for an Eighties heartthrob who bewitches her with his smile and humour? Is the choice really hers to make or is it all simply fated? Every prescription tells a story. Not all stories have happy endings.
